From New Chitose Airport to your Sapporo hotel door
New Chitose Airport is about 50 km from central Sapporo. You can take the train or bus, but you still need to carry your luggage from Sapporo Station or Odori to your hotel.
MUTOTAXI is a private transfer: we meet you at the airport and drive you to the entrance of your accommodation. The fare is per vehicle, not per person, so it is better value the more of you there are.
Train, bus or private transfer?
About 40 minutes to Sapporo Station. Good for one or two travelers with light luggage staying near the station.
Some routes stop near major hotels. Check the timetable and stop locations in advance.

Travel Time
The drive from New Chitose Airport to central Sapporo (Sapporo Station, Odori, Susukino) via the Do-o Expressway takes about 60–75 minutes.
- Allow extra time on snowy roads in winter and during big events such as the Sapporo Snow Festival.
- Central Sapporo is often busy in the evening, so arrival times vary with your hotel’s location.
