SAPPORO
Where to Stay in Sapporo:
Hotels by Area
From hotels by Sapporo Station to refined luxury stays and quieter spots near Nakajima Park — a short guide to choosing your area, with links to check rates. Now including Hyatt Centric Sapporo, opened in October 2026.
Which Area Should You Choose?
Central Sapporo is compact. Sapporo Station, Odori and Susukino sit along one straight line, so any of them works well for a first visit.
Sapporo Station
The JR hub. Trains to New Chitose Airport and Otaru leave from here, and underground walkways connect to Odori. Good for day trips and early departures.
Odori
The heart of the city around Odori Park and the TV Tower, and the main venue of the Sapporo Snow Festival. Walkable to both the station and Susukino.
Susukino
Hokkaido's biggest dining and nightlife district — ramen, seafood, Genghis Khan barbecue and bars open late. Lively, and handy if you plan to eat out every night.
Nakajima Park
Green and noticeably quieter, a short subway ride south of Susukino. A relaxed choice for families and longer stays.
Near the Station / Downtown
Sapporo Station, Odori and Susukino — the most convenient base for sightseeing, dining and business.
Luxury
For a special trip — refined service, design and facilities.
Quieter Areas (Nakajima Park & Beyond)
A calmer setting a little away from the busiest streets — still easy to reach the city center.
Budget-Friendly / Business
Comfortable stays that don't compromise on value.
