About New Chitose Airport

Hokkaido's main gateway by air. The Domestic and International Terminals are separate buildings, linked by a connecting walkway.

Domestic Terminal

The arrivals lobby is on the 1st floor. Depending on your airline, you come out at either the "ANA side" or the "JAL side" — and that decides which pickup stand is closest.

International Terminal

The arrivals lobby is on the 2nd floor. You pass immigration, baggage claim and customs before reaching it. The reserved-taxi stand is on the 1st floor.

Moving between terminals

The two terminals are connected by a walkway you can walk through, with moving walkways along the way.

FAQ

What happens if my flight is delayed?
If you tell us your flight number when booking, we can adjust the pickup to your actual arrival. If your flight is canceled or badly delayed, please let us know through your chosen contact method (WhatsApp, LINE or SMS) as soon as you find out.
Is it OK to contact you after I collect my luggage?
Yes. Baggage claim can get crowded, so please message us once you have your bags. We will then bring the car to the stand. If you arrive on an international flight, please message us after you clear customs.
Is the reserved-taxi stand different from the regular taxi stand?
Yes. At the regular taxi stand you take whichever taxi is next in line. MUTOTAXI picks you up at the reserved-taxi stand. There is also a stand just for ride-hailing apps nearby, so please check the number sign before you wait.
What if I can't find my driver?
Contact us through the method you chose when booking. Tell us where you are (the name of your arrival gate or the number on a nearby sign) and we will guide you to the meeting point.
Can you fit large suitcases and ski gear?
Up to 6 passengers can ride. Please enter the number of suitcases and golf bags in the booking form, and note skis and snowboards (how many and the case size) under "Other luggage". Depending on the number of people and amount of gear, everything may not fit, so we check in advance.
Where do we meet if I arrive on an international flight?
We pick you up at reserved-taxi stand No. 81 on the 1st floor of the International Terminal. The arrivals lobby is on the 2nd floor. After the arrival exit, walk to the left through the lobby and take the elevator at the end on the left down to the 1st floor; stand No. 81 is right nearby. Immigration and customs can take a while, so please message us once you are through customs. We will then bring the car to the stand.
How long does it take from the airport to Sapporo?
About 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes by car, depending on the time of day, traffic and winter weather.
How long does it take from the airport to Niseko?
About 2 hours to 2 hours 30 minutes by car. In winter, snow can make it take longer.
